Of course there's a name for this. There's a name for all the other stuff that I didn't realize were symptoms until an article about it came across my radar. Why would this be any different?
Ha! That’s exactly how I felt reading the article. Spent the better part of 40 years wondering why I felt different and was struggling with things like friendships and relationships that seemed so natural to others. Finally got a late diagnosis and felt relieved that I could now start to find the tools to manage it, but no, seems this thing has LAYERS, like an ogre!
Also, I already take blood pressure meds, maybe I should see if we can try the ones they suggest. Thanks for the tip. If I ever think about this post again... Sigh.
Shit, that hits hard, this is so me. I've never realised this can also be part of ADHD, I've always thought this was just because I've been bullied a lot in my youth and the resulting self-esteem issues. Guess I might be double blessed. 😅
I just commented in a previous post that weed helps me escape these feelings. I honestly did not think that anyone else experienced this particular prominent aspect of my neurodivergence. Can we like for a support group or something? Every time I find out I am not alone in something, life gets slightly easier.
