Working Australians, some with multiple jobs, are inundating financial counselling services at COVID-era levels as interest rates and inflation make life unaffordable.
Remember when Bush was talking to a divorced mother of three, including a 'mentally challenged' son,
working three jobs just to make ends meet and he said:
You work three jobs? Uniquely American, isn't it? I mean, that is fantastic that you're doing that.
Australia has roughly the same land mass as the US and less than 10% of the population. So housing here outside of the state capitals is still somewhat affordable, but the situation is getting rapidly worse.
