TRK's song of the day: Nexus Bloom - I Stopped The Birds

This one is grunge I reckon. It's from back in the 00's and for a while they were in Brisbane, though they came from the UK according to their Triple J Unearthed profile at least.

I ended up stalking the bloke behind Nexus Bloom cause I loved the Bloom Valley album and wanted to buy it. Somehow ended up messaging him on Facebook as you do, and he sent me their OG recordings! I'm talking the legit WAV files straight from Ableton in all their mono shed-recorded glory. What a guy!

For anyone who cares where they are now...

Tom Baker went on to form Raging Serfs, and later Miners Club. He now does Snow Windows of all things... nothing musical related at all.

His investment of sending me the OG files certainly paid off, cause I bought every album from everythings he's done so dollar dollar bills for that guy and his band mates!
