Mentioned that Windows doesn't actually shut down when you press the "shutdown" button to a friend a few days ago, we were talking about best cleaning practices and he just looked at me like I was stupid. I elected to just drop the topic instead of explaining the whole Fast Startup mess.

1Always over explain. Then apologize for over explaining. Have to give contest to everything so the explanation makes more sense.
