Arm reportedly developing gaming GPU in Israel to compete with Nvidia and Intel
Is Arm planning to launch a discrete gaming GPU?
Makes sense. Their graphics performance in Windows arm laptops was getting decimated in reviews
8ReplyQualcomm uses their own Adreno GPUs, they are different from ARM's Mali which are even worse.

wonderful! i want more competition in this space :D
with intel still getting their footing in this market, a 4th representative would be very welcome.
i hope ARM realizes it will be a tough road and the first few generations may not make much money (or lose money).

2ReplyA bit risky. They could find they become a boycott target which could kill adoption. Companies won't want wasted stock, sonmay be risk averse to using them.
2ReplyA bunch of tech companies do a lot of their work within Israel; a comprehensive secondary boycott would rule out a lot of technology companies.
Not saying it's not a worthy effort, just that I doubt arm are worried about themselves specifically.
