Torrent progress goes backward

Hi all,

Ever since I started using starlink as ISP I noticed that torrenting sucks! I’m not sure if the torrent network has gotten worse or if it’s attributed to my change to starlink ISP.

I am using a VPN. My torrent progress will often go backwards. For example it might say 130MB of 900MB downloaded. Then it will suddenly say 125MB, the lower to only 120MB downloaded. Etc.

All of my torrents are doing this. They seem to take two steps forward and one step back. It seems like for a 2GB file the actual data downloaded is much higher, like 8GB.

Anyone know what is causing this?
