In Tixati when you uncheck a file from the list of files to be downloaded, you get the option to delete it. And this can be done without stopping the torrent, it will continue to seed/download.

In qBittorrent I do not see such an option, I did uncheck some files and still don't see it.

So, in conclusion from all the responses I got - qBittorrent indeed doesn't have this option.
