I loved the premise, I loved most of the actors, I loved most of the characters. But, the writing was worse than usual and made both me and my wife, cringe. I’m still sad. It got canceled.
9ReplyYeah, sadly. I actually liked The Acolyte and didn't get the hate.
One of the more relaxed channels generously said it was because there was no consistent lore or lore checkers/keepers at Disney for Star Wars.
But I dunno, I think it was mostly racism and other bigotries.
7ReplyI wholeheartedly agree. The worst enemy of Star wars is Star wars fans.
Remember Rose? All of that backlash was pure racism.
7ReplyNo I don't remember Rose, sadly.
What/who is Rose?
Edit: Oh okay I looked up her up to refresh my memory, and yeahhhhh. It's ironic since star wars culuturally appropriated so much in the first place.
