Developer remakes The Simpsons: Hit and Run from scratch
An independent developer has completed his remake of The Simpsons Hit and Run in Unreal Engine 5, and it looks incredible.
This project reminds me of cartmanland.
Cartmanland is now open! It has all the best rides and games! And the best part!?
YOU CANT COME!!! Nah nah nah nah nah nawww Hahaha ha haaa
17ReplyI love this project and have been following it since the first few videos. I wish they could find a way to release the final product!
12ReplyI really hope the developer's project somehow "accidentally" leaks onto piracy websites like a lot of fan projects do.
13ReplyHonestly I think he’s using this high profile game news modding to advertise his portfolio to potential employers

That was the best Simpsons game ever made. It was wall to wall references with quality gameplay. I'd love a remake of it.
7ReplyThis was such a great game. I remember reading a few years ago that the first time they showed it to Matt Groening he was playing as Homer and kicked Marge down the street. It's the little things.
"I'll pay you in back rubs"
4Replylink is borked 🙁
1ReplyThe original seems to work well via emulators. What is the remake going to improve?
-2ReplyThe original has a PC port too, and there's a mod loader created by a team that is (slowly) making a huge overhaul mod.
12ReplyI think it's more of a hobby project. There is no way to legally release it to the public.
7ReplyThe graphics. That said, it wasn’t really trying to improve on anything. It was never going to be released.
