I don't usually get remuxes because I have very limited disk space but there's one show that I really like so I thought I'd just go for it.

I was looking at the file information for two different remuxes and I noticed that they all had PGS for subtitles which is very disappointing. I couldn't find any other remux releases for this show where the subtitles are in SRT format which is my preference. I tried to go to OpenSubtitles to look for good ones and for the first episode I found a good subtitle in SRT (I did see a spelling error though). I was about to go through every single episode but I noticed that the same subtitle release wasn't available for the second episode and I'm not really feeling inclined downloading subtitles from different uploaders.

Is it uncommon to find SRT from remuxes? Do BluRays only come with PGS subtitles? I tried watching with PGS subtitles and it looks horrible. It's so gray and washed out that sometimes I have a hard time reading them. What should my next course of action be if I'm having difficulties finding the subtitles from OpenSubtitles?
