Junior doctors accept 22% pay rise to end strikes - BBC News
Junior doctors in England accept the government’s offer of a 22% pay rise over two years, ending their long-running dispute.
Holy shit that amazing. Well deserved. All the Tories could offer them was clapping.
It's almost like having a union gets you a fair deal.
14If I remember right, there is only a 2% difference between this offer and the last one they received from the previous government.
It's not suddenly loads better, they just could never accept any deal made by a Conservative government.
Edit: I just looked up the previous government's offer, and the difference is actually .3%. I'm sure those strikes weren't politically motivated though. 🙄
