Report: Google could reveal a foldable tablet at I/O 2024
A news outlet has claimed that Google is thinking about launching a foldable tablet, and it could debut as soon as next year.
Digitimes (paywalled) reports that Google is considering a foldable tablet, citing “upstream supply chain sources.” The outlet’s sources say Google could bring the device to Google I/O next year if it does indeed decide to launch the product.
The news outlet further asserts that Apple is considering a foldable tablet too.
Not really sure what the use case is here. Not sure what value being able to fold a tablet would even bring? At least with a phone it allows you to pocket more screen.
