This is kind of a good thing. Many moderators sell their accounts to marketers

Even so, it seems like a reaction against the mod protest earlier this year.

- It would be great in another situation. Like, mods have been complaining since forever that the top mod is always someone who doesn't give a fuck about the sub, and "magically" appears when convenient for themself, only to disappear a moment later.

- Yeah, only thing is if your hostile to reddit and an active mod the marketers will still get in.
