9o1-preview is the new "strawberry" model that was built with limited reasoning capabilities. The "Thought" part is from their incorporation of the new "Chain-of-thought" technique
Ive tried it, it does seem to have...indications(?)...of reasoning ability. It's certainly better than anything else currently out though IME
