I don't mean to be offensive but I have all kind of thoughts about Android until I find this thread in the timeline... then all of my thoughts fade away

My first thought when I saw it was "I'll start my own app store with blackjack and hookers". Does it still only have about ten apps available? If so then why would anyone use it other than to have a play with a new thing?
It does have the backing of GrapheneOS though, which is comparatively huge.
Unfortunately I didn't find anything about my topic. Android is so annoying right now with the Play Store showing permanently my Apps in the "Installed Apps List", which I installed via F-Droid. This is happening for some month now. It seems Google has something against sideloading.
Is there a an official announcement why they are doing this?
