Is this a real city? If so, which one?

- It's Shanghai, Yan'an Road West. You can see the front of Jing'an Temple and the adjacent mall in the distance. There's definitely some editing weirdness going on on the road in the foreground though.

  That's called a lens filter (or photoshop).
  Please stop calling that something is AI generated, you obviously don't know how to tell if it is.

  Nah this looks pretty standard photoshopping to me. Pretty sure the colour grading is one of the standard filters in lightroom

You know you messed up when a photographer can take what seems to be a long(ish) exposure shot of a highway.

Honestly I find myself trying to figure out how the photographer achieved this effect, rather than focusing on how much space cars take up in the shot. (tint the non-red highlights to blue, then oversaturate the highlights maybe? But how did they get the colors on the street lights?)

But needless to say that city would be better without a freeway cutting through it
