Ending the expensive roaming was way more useful than free wifi. Though free wifi is nice as well.

  Imagine leaving the EU because some idiots want the Conservative Party to have freer reign to ruin the country all because they convinced them that the problems caused by lack of investment in health, education and council housing were supposedly caused by immigrants.
  
  I lost so many rights and protections, and British farming is dying out faster than ever. The common agricultural policy was flawed, yes, but hanging all the farmers out to dry is not the solution you want.

Sweden had eduroam at airports, libraries, police stations, train stations and some other public place a when I studied there 10 years ago. It was amazing!

Too late imo. Nowadays I will not connect to any free wifi, because data is just faster.

  But really cheap nowadays and instead of investing in free wifi, they should invest in free/cheaper data

You only need to log in via facebook to access it probably, like all the airports..
