A list compiled by Global News includes arsons and extortions in Alberta, drive-by shootings in B.C. and Ontario and a Winnipeg murder.
Fourteen bullets fired at a home near Victoria. An Edmonton building torched by arsonists carrying a red jerrycan. A 39-year-old found dead in a Winnipeg duplex
The crimes are among several across Canada that were allegedly part of an Indian government campaign against activists and opponents of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This kind of stuff has been an open secret for a while. The Modi government has a reputation for targeting Khalistan activists, and these incidents fit the pattern. Canada’s decision to publicly call it out just exposes what’s already been happening, and it’s about time the truth is addressed head-on, even if it means straining diplomatic relations.

There's controversy about marital rape (a separate law specifically for it) going on and that is unfortunate. My country can do a lot more about law and order. But this is baseless claim. No consequences? Women can still file a complaint under domestic violence. And only women can file such complaint (IPC section 498A).

At some point, Canada is gonna have to declare India an enemy and cut off diplomatic ties. I'm surprised it hasn't happened already. Maybe because a lot of manufacturing wants to move to India so they don't want to hurt trade?
