Which AdBlocker do you guys prefer with focus being on functionality, battery life, and connectivity (no drop offs/disconnects)?

10Is there an ELI5 for what NextDNS is/does? I downloaded and enabled it because I see it recommended often enough, but I have no idea what it does for me or if there's anything else I need to be doing with it.

Technitium that I host myself. Works like a charm.
3No apps, just use a DNS server that blocks ads. I like Control D. They have servers with many major blocklists and can be used with DoH, DoT, or just old unencrypted DNS if needed.
2First time I hear about Control D. Have you by any chance used it and NextDNS? If yes: Which one do you think is better and wyh?
