Personally, I feel happy to see this project geting form and I cannot wait to see what happens at the end.

I feel like the new name loses a lot of the immediate recognition the TF moniker gave the project.
0As someone else mentioned, they had to rename due to legal concerns over trademarks. If people start abandoning Terraform for this alternative, Hashicorp will look for any reason to sue.
1They renamed due to legal concerns. I don't think there's a winning move for naming the project except hoping whatever it is catches on.
