Does anyone have any advice or guesses why my mac is basically unable to torrent anything?

I've tried different torrent clients and connecting my laptop to ethernet but no dice, the issue persists. As you can see in the first clip, when I have multiple torrents, they all tend to drop to 0 at the same time, so something in the underlying networking of the mac seems to be going funky. Any advice would be helpful on ways to debug this further.
