Matrix.org - An unrelated cybercriminal network named MATRIX was taken down

I figured that out yesterday, but it took me some time and I was really confused.

"Are we the bad guys? I didn't even know we traded drugs!"

I was reading an article on that on Tweakers two days ago, and I was quite confused until the last sentence saying that it was not related to the "decentralized chat protocol with a similar name"

Are there any other networks we don’t know about called Matrix we can clear out?

guessing that's why someone was saying Matrix "is CIA" yesterday
