on the other hand, the baby owes you everything. they would be nothing without you, don’t let them forget that. i started charging my kids rent the day they got home from the hospital. it’s important they learn that nothing in life is free.

I’ve been telling my partner this from day one. The night the baby got home, they were on their own. They could breastfeed but only if they worked it. Now a couple months in, we just put the food in their play pen and a days worth of milk. They’re smart too! Once they ran out of food and started to eat their poopy diaper.

- Also, it's technically true. If you don't want your newborn, you don't have to keep it. The problem starts when they don't want it but keep it anyway.
