Hello folks,

I'm looking at converting my show collection from mp4 format to 1080 AV1, storage is less then 720 quality.

Like Stargate SG seasons can be 50gigs each but in AV1 they are 5-10ish gigs each.

Depending on the person who encodes it might be graining and not pure 1080 but better than 720.

They do need better software then HEVC x265 Shows but VLC plays it just fine.

I'm wondering if it's worth it to upgrade all my sHws and/or download new shows in AV1.
