  • Got to mow half the lawn yesterday, which was nice. Its so damn wet that any opportunity to take an inch or two of grass off the top is welcomed.

    Then got a call out to the Gold Coast so that was the rest of the day done. Some fancy club joint with lots of people wearing white and deck shoes.

    . Music so loud I've still got a headache. Reckon I'm getting old. Can't handle the "music" or the people of the GC.

    Last night I did two laps of the yard and got two shopping bags FULL of toads. So now the fridge is full of toads on step 1 of stepped hypothermia, and I am literally running out of room in the freezer for the ones I've caught previously. Its going to be half a wheeliebin full of the buggers come bin day. Absolute toadapalooza.

  • Just before Christmas, car decided it wanted to shit itself. Airbag light flashing on dash, and wouldn't go into gear. Had to override it to move the damn thing.

    Took it in for diagnostic check today, but while driving, the transmission check starts flashing on the dash with the airbag one now. Also, car was constantly getting stuck in gears 1, 2 or 3.

    Here's me crapping my self, thinking I might have to get the transmission replaced, but nope. Was just a simple blown fuse. Replaced, error codes cleared, and off she goes. And they only charged me for half hour labour rather then the full hour. A little Christmas miracle for me.
