Yes, there were slight changes in the design, but the motifs (gateways, windows, bridges in various architectual styles) remained pretty much unchanged.
This time it's a complete redesign with (a) different theme(s). 8ReplyOoh, that’s interesting, gonna be a while before I’m used to it again

Between 2013 and 2019 the "new" series came out. I think a new series every 12 years is reasonable

Look like the decision was first announced in December 2021. Is that what you’re thinking about?
2ReplyNo, it was a smaller redesign they did from 2013 to 2019, in batches, so that’s why it seems so recent

I don't even remember when was the last time I used banknotes. Not since COVID. I probably wouldn't be able to recognize the banknotes anyway so go right ahead, I guess.
