Apple saying in black and white you cannot use parts even from other iPhones (2 year old reddit repost)

So wasteful. I can't believe there are those who still find them responsible from an environmental standpoint.

Also just a dick move to the consumer. It makes sense that so many in their user base tend not to be technical, because then they tend not to care about stuff like this.
