I'm looking for a music player application that can handle multiple devices
As above, I'm looking for a music player app that would ideally have one main app, preferably in Docker, providing a Web UI and several linux-based players (essentially mini PCs) could connect to it which it could control.
It would need to be able to play music from NFS or SMB shared. Spotify integration is a bonus.
If anyone knows anything that would fulfill at least half of the above, I would appreciate it.

Remote playback or remote control?
Off-hand it sounds like you want media to playback on the remote device, so either Jellyfin or Plex. Personally, I use Jellyfin, though Plex does have better apps.
1Just wanted to say thank you for all. I'm set up with Logitech Media Server and couldn't be happier. The fact that it has a Truecharts app on TrueNAS Scale is just the icing on the cake.
