The sysadmin problem

This was totally the response to Y2K. We spent billions to prevent catastrophe, then nothing bad happened, then everyone was like, "we've been had!" I didn't hear anyone say "well, we really handled that one well!"

I believe this is the same thing that caused the anti-vax movement.

"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all."

"No matter how hard we work, the boss yells at us. What the heck are we working for this asshole for?"
