They were put there by a man!
98ReplyOld millennial checking in. No fucking clue what this is about
83ReplyTHEY WERE PUT THERE BY A MAN
78Reply"They were put there by a man, in a factory downtown..."
43ReplyI'm gonna move me to the country, gonna eat me a lot of peaches.
41ReplyI thought we were Gen x or y?
Anyway, this entire album is fucking banger.
39ReplyYounger millennial checking in, despite the relevance of my username I have no idea what this means.
34ReplyTook a little nap where the roots all twist
Squished a rotten peach in my fist
And dreamed about you, wooooomaaaaan
30ReplyTHEY WERE PUT THERE BY A MANoh fuck
23ReplyKitty on my foot and I wanna touch it
23ReplyAs a zoomer, thank you for including a link to wtf it was talking about. I was totally lost.
23ReplyAlso works for younger X.
22ReplyLook out!
Then the ninjas jump out of the tree.
19ReplyYep. 1995 here and ive got no idea.
19Reply“Lump lingered, last in line for brains”
19ReplyI'm a young millennial and I love this song but none of my peers knew wtf I was talking about
17ReplyFor the folks who don't know The singer from POTUSA sings kids music as Casper Babypants and his songs are bangers that my 11 month old daughter and I both enjoy equally.
15ReplyLittle blind spider took the wheel
14Reply58 Gen X Brit here. Even I know the correct response. It was a popular tune.
12ReplyWtf does this mean?
12ReplyAny of this posts' targets with little kids looking for fun music check out Caspar Babypants
12ReplyMakes me want to move to the country.
12ReplyLate Gen X here (born '77). I love the video for this song.
10ReplyI guess I am the Elder One.
8ReplyI think zoomers have access to Spotify.
7ReplyI just scream out......CASPER BABYPANTS!
6ReplyI'm early Gen Z and I know this song lmao. It played here and there on the local alternative rock radio stations.
5ReplyBest mosh pit I was ever in, surprisingly enough. That song can hit a properly primed and amped up crowd nicely.
3ReplyGonna eat me a buncha peaches.
3ReplyThat was the first CD I bought when I got a CD player for christmas.
3ReplyHwat?
2ReplyIt's gonna blow oh whoa oh whoa whoa 🌋
1ReplyThis was never a good song. But I will add that pears in can are better than fresh pears that ain't Asian pears. Those crispy things are delicious
-4ReplyAs an elder millennial, that song has always been garbage
-4ReplyGrew up in 90s. I learned only recently what alternative music actually encompasses, realized I absolute hate it by and large. There was so much shitty music in the 90s and it was the bulk of alternative that sucked so much.
*Edit: to the haters down voting me: all I can say is that my life is pretty plain.
-4ReplyThat song sounds lame af
-20ReplyOh, its an American thing. Guess Lemme's not immune to the "Nowhere else exists except the United States" rule of the internet
