Its not clear to me why we are talking about Bluesky as if its part of the fediverse. Its just centralized social media waiting to happen all over again.
- I don’t know why Mastodon got passed over either.
  
  Maybe because there are no "CEO"'s of the fediverse and so it doesn't fit the narrative.
  
  Is the Mastodon CEO paying for the article, being on a picture gopnik style?
I'm fine with Lemmy.
I don't need another venture capital whistle.
I hear XMPP is also good.
