Paul de Pidoll, whose real name was Paul Franz Karl Freiherr von Pidoll (1882 - 1954), was a painter, watercolorist, xylographer and book illustrator.
He was a pupil of Fernand Sabatté and exhibited at the 'Salon des artistes français' in 1929.
