An AI video of Christopher Pelkey forgave his killer in court in what officials believe was the first use of AI to deliver a victim impact statement.
On the one hand, it's good that it was used to advocate for forgiveness and for a lighter sentencing, and that it was created by his surviving family members rather than anyone else.
But I still can't shake the feeling that this is basically puppeteering a corpse, no matter how good the intentions were.
