Feature request: Feed that blends "Everything" and "Subscribed"
I find myself constantly switching between the two and it would be nice if we could see a combination of both in one place.
Eta: Basically I want to see all posts but prioritize my subscribed communities. Alternating between posts from both feeds seems like it could be an easy way to achieve this.

39Agreed. This makes sense only if Subscribed were somehow weighted more heavily so it appeared to be Hotter or more Active, but that might need to be a Lemmy change rather than a SyncForLemmy change.

6I'm not a Sync user (or a Lemmy user, even - I'm on kbin) but something I'd love see in general across the threadiverse is to be able to add some sort of weighting to certain communities/magazines. There are some meme communities that I don't necessarily want to block entirely, but that show up in my feed far too often, and there are some niche communities I wish I could see more from. Having a "weighted all" feed would be fantastic.

This is a great idea for Lemmy overall. Would probably increase activity in smaller communities.
9Yeah I am liking lemmy but smaller communities definitely suffer here. My small communities never show up in my subscribed feed, doesn't matter the sort type.
I know people say there "isn't an algorithm" (there is), but maybe it should be made in a way that elevated some smaller communities instead of just being !memes for 90% of posts.

I agree! Maybe giving some weight to the subscribed posts to ensure they aren't entirely buried by the really popular everything posts? Its kind of like a "For You" page but a simple mix as opposed to a specific algorithm
