  • Just one tattoo. I got it at 20 about a year after my dad passed away. It's an homage to the only tattoo my dad had throughout my childhood, which was a bird on his arm. I got it done by an old friend of his, who owned a tattoo shop. He free-handed it off of a grainy, faded photograph that I pulled out of an old photo album. He did a fantastic job; it's a 1:1 replica.

It's faded just a bit now (I've had it for nearly 15 years), but not badly. I'll probably get it touched up in a few years to brighten up the colors.

  • No :( And it's 100% on account of never having the cash for it That's especially as far as tattoos go because they're fkn expensive.

I did have a safety pin in my ear for a really short time lol. I've had my nose pierced twice. I had my eyebrow pierced. I tried a home job of piercing my lip years ago but it swelled up too much for the actually jewelry I had for it, so that didn't happen. Mostly I'd lose the piercing or part of it that screws in or whatever, then not have the cash on hand to replace it. So.

I'm dying to start getting tattooed though and I'd love to get pierced again. Especially my nose, specifically a selection of pretty studs to choose from, maybe a ring for certain occasions. And I'd love to get some lobe piercings this time. This is all highly dependent on me getting my shit together though.

Edit: I don't mean lobe stretching, I mean lots of piercings along the edges of my ears, whatever that's called.

  • No tattoos yet, I want some but don't know what I want. I do have both earlobes pierced, an industrial on my right ear, two helix piercings on my left, a nose ring, a lip ring, and both nipples.

  • Multiple tattoos! I used to have multiple piercings as well, but they all ultimately rejected, so now I have none

  • I had my ears pierced as a young teen, it was what girls did then.

I haven't worn earrings for nigh on twenty five years so I'm hoping they've closed up by now.

  • I really like piercings. It’s pain you can control. I’ve got a lip, 2 nostrils, industrial (which is constantly irritated, might take it out), conch, and 1/2” lobes. I used to have 2 tragus piercings, but they rejected, as they were done at home (stupid teenager!), and a navel.

I love what I have right now, and will regret when I take out my industrial. It is healed, but has an irritation bump that has not gone away for like 2 years. When it gets close to clearing up, I either accidentally sleep on it or bump it, which causes the bump to inflame 😔

  • Years ago I was planning one. A Chinese dragon, except with wings; or a slender wyvern, if you want. Holding an open book in one hand, and a sword in another.

I never got the drawing just right. And eventually gave up the idea of the tattoo.

  • No piercings because they scare me, but I do have tattoos. 5 big ones on chest/torso/back/shoulder, and one tiny one on my foot.

  • Yup.

Nothing extravagant though. Regular ear piercings, no stretching or anything. Just not my thing, though I think it usually looks awesome. I only wear one stud nowadays, and even that is kind of a nostalgia thing for back when I was embracing the idea of rejecting gender norms for men. At this point in my life, I've embraced that fully, and have found my personal masculinity, so the ear rings just started to be a hassle lol.

Not going into too much detail on something like this, but I have a norse themed piece on one arm, an Egyptian themed one on the other. Never managed to get the planned additions done, and likely never will unless my wife decides to have an affair with a good inker that I can blackmail into free tattoos.

If I had the funding, I have plans for both arms, back, chest, and one thigh. But we'd be talking thousands of dollars, and even if I had the money, I'd still put it to something that's a higher priority.

  • I have a few tattoos. One of my latest is a simple design on my ring finger. I haven't been able to wear jewelry for years, including my wedding ring, so I got a design on my finger as a sort of placeholder. Making plans to eventually work on a floral sleeve.
