"Subscribe Pending" for a long period, normal?

Yes, it is a visual bug. You are in fact subscribed and will receive the posts, but it will continue to say 'pending'.

Could be for an increased server load. For me some subscriptions needed like two days, but I didn’t have to do anything extra.
