A good faith position that is both genuine and sure to be applied similarly to America's many other proxy wars of aggression.

it was bound to happen that the US was gonna abandon the nazi outpost seeing that the war is lost, at least to save face saying in the future "we tried to make peace (because we failed winning a war) but ukraine didn't listen"

Russia has been a European issue to deal with for centuries. The current mess is because of US interference after WW2 and all the Cold War crap. Russia has always wanted to be treated as part of Europe and have a year-round warm water port. Two things that the aristocracy/oligarchy have fought to deny them. Climate change is giving Russia the portsl, while Trump is handing them a new relationship with Europe. The US leaving Europe should have happened decades ago and should be viewed as a good thing; ripping off the band-aid/plaster.

This just means the US is moving focus to Iran and then China
If they really do start a war with Iran, they can forget about China at that point.
well they USAF has relocated quite a few logistic suport aircraft from the US to the middle east, and they are pulling forces out of the south china sea to the middle east. It is looking likely that they will change focus to this new shiney thing, especialy given they have hated Iran ever sense the Sha left
The good news we can draw from this is that Europe will already be too stretched out with its war with Russia and they won't be able to join the US.
Yeah, not sure if that makes a lot of difference
