I often wonder if she's as properly dumb as she sounds and she really believes the shit she says, or if she's a true professional striving to do her job to the best of her abilities, even if her job involves lying and saying things that make her look like a dumb bimbo.
I really can't decide.
It’s not stupidity that makes these people believe the things they do, it’s a concerted effort at self-delusion. They simply hate the world the way it is (and the people in it) so they invent a fantasy reality in which they can pretend that we all live because they simply refuse to accept the world for what it is and people for who they are.
Exactly so, and still you listen to people saying that they're dumb, or falling victim to fake news. NO, they are racist bastards, it's that simple.

But... All it would take her is watching a video of herself delivering Trump's BS to realize how mind-numbingly daft and lapdoggish she sounds. It really doesn't take much self-introspection skills to feel ashamed at oneself behaving like that. And she went to university, so surely she must see it too. Nobody can be this blind to one's shameful behavior. That's what puzzles me so much.
Unless, like I said, she's a consummate professional and she chooses to leave her self-respect in the locker when she clocks in in order to do the best job she can.
There’s nothing puzzling about it: they lied to themselves until they believe their own lies. If they were capable of any sort of self-introspection or shame, they wouldn’t be the people they are.
And there’s nothing professional about being a pathological liar and propaganda mouthpiece for a fascist administration.
I'm not sure some of these people are capable of processing shame in the same way normal people might.
