Ok sure, but if you frame the conversation to mean the limit would be set at $400k/year then you're missing the point. We're talking billionaires not single digit millionaires. Despite how those numbers sound to the average person there's several orders of magnitude between them.
I'm much more interested in one side of that equation than the other but yes, that's a beautiful dream.
When you're in the shower you can see the penis
That sort of introspection seems so easy, at least in conceptual form, doesn't it? I'm not saying it's easy to change your attitudes and behaviors with the goal of becoming a better person but it takes a special kind of asshole to be unable to follow even the logic of your post without outside assistance. So many people live their lives that way and I honestly can't fathom it. Most mentalities I can understand even if I can't relate to them but that kind of narcissistic controlling behavior is so foreign to me that I can't even begin to empathize with someone who thinks that way. I can't put myself in those shoes because my brain won't let me completely disregard other people.
Just to be clear, that doesn't mean I'm perfect by any means. I'm an asshole on a fairly regular basis just like everyone. But god damn, how do you just not care at all about how your actions impact the people in your life?
Those people might well exist but I think it's fair to say that if the survival of American democracy depends on convincing people like that to not support the obviously evil candidate then we're well past the point that the derailment of the train can be avoided.
Christian tradition, sure, but the Bible doesn't have much to say about nipples so any specific rule regarding them seems to be more of an inference than a command.
Why are both of these so veiny? Also, why does the word veiny and both of these pictures make me think of dicks? Am I the inevitable perverted product of an overly sexualized society or are these drawings intentionally evoking phallic symbolism? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?
For real. I'm at the point where I've lost my tolerance for this whole situation. If we can't collectively decide that this is a fucking ridiculous place to be as a country and make the only choice that has even a chance of getting us out of this mess then we need to hurry up and get the collapse over with. It's utterly asinine that we are even having this conversation.
You laugh, but we're getting closer and closer to this every day
Yes it sucks but that's reality. Until half of America stops being fascist sympathizers at best this is what you have to deal with.
You guys are looking at the choice between eating a salad and swallowing a cyanide pill and complaining that you'd rather have pizza. Unfortunately, pizza isn't on the table and if you do nothing that cyanide pill is getting forced down everyone's throat. Complain about it as much as you like but at the end of the day you better choke down that god damn salad before we all get completely fucked over.
Fair enough. I'm glad that people have different perspectives than me so I enjoy hearing about them. It is certainly a unique vehicle and there is something slightly charming about being bold in your design choices.
You genuinely like the way they look? I'm not trying to poke fun here I am legitimately curious, what is it you like about the aesthetics? I don't see the appeal.
It is bullshit but at the same time if 30+ felonies didn't do the trick I don't think any more will matter. His supporters went from "someone under federal investigation isn't qualified" to "proud to vote for a felon" without a second thought. They're on the Trump train until the wheels fall off.
I've definitely heard this quote prior to 2018. I won't pretend to know who said it first but there's no way it originated then.
There's plenty of good men out there. Society as a whole just seems largely uninterested in men's problems. They're expected to always have their shit together in a world designed to make that as difficult as possible to achieve.
I'm sure some people reading that will have strong reactions to the sentiment but it shouldn't be controversial to say that everybody has problems. If we don't listen to them then the Andrew Tate's of the world will step in and make them feel heard. That's just how people work.
I admire your dedication to the math but isn't that all kind of irrelevant? No oxygen means no explosion when the firing pin strikes the cartridge which means your projectile remains stationary.
Edit: I just saw that other guys comment on this very topic. I don't know if he's correct but it's at least plausible enough to make the topic worth exploring. Please carry on.
They definitely took the land from someone. The funny thing is that it doesn't even matter who "they" refers to in that sentence because it is universally true. Everyone is from somewhere else if you go back far enough. This whole thread is just different people picking different points in time to refer to as the original state of things, despite the fact that history is literally the study of the constant evolution of humanity.
No one is having a comprehensive theological discussion with you jackass. We were talking about a very specific thing. Stop being obnoxious.
I know it's tough to pay attention for four whole sentences but if you read them again slowly I think you'll see that I did not use the words Jesus, sin, or metaphor in any form which should make it pretty clear that, no, I'm not saying that at all.
Can we add the option to exclude communities and/or posts that are in a different language than our chosen default? I'm guessing filtering communities would be easier than individual posts but I'm not sure how language would be flagged. I understand some people may want to see some of these posts but even multilingual people must be bombarded with posts in languages they don't speak. I'm getting pretty annoyed that half of my feed is stuff I can't read.
I've looked through the settings multiple times but I suppose it's still possible this already exists and I just missed it.
