Oregon drivers react to self-service at gas stations

I hate having to wait for an attendent to pump gas. Especially when I could easily get out, start the pump, and not just sit in my car waiting. Very glad this change went through.

Prediction: It will all be fine until the first major storm with sideways rain. ;)

Steven Brown tells KATU he plans to stick with an attendant's help.

"Not so interested in self-serve because I’m old. I mean, it’s actually a job to get out and pump your own gas," Brown said.

I guess he also has some at home who whipes his ass... Getting out of the car and holding the gas pistol for a minute is considered work? I don't get it.
