  • its amazing to me that this was ever deamed worth anything its terrible. Nothing a photgraph doesn't do better. If this was from 800 or those times then it would be much mors impressive

    • Agreed, I can’t see the attraction of this painting.

      On looking it up it sold for over £91,000 at Christie’s and I can’t see why.

      It’s a view from a window in Boulogne and the French tricolour on the right hand side is the wrong way round, with the red portion on flagpole side instead of the blue?

      Just such a trivial mistake to make and sums up the painting for me as sloppy and badly executed.

        I much expect my own pieces value will inflate exprapfiantly when i expire and am seen as a millsnial artist from the pre 2000s
