Do you still have gallon of soda? I remember seeing soda by the gallon in the 80s. Now, the biggest bottle I see in Canada is 2L.
- ...i don't buy soft drinks but i feel like two-liter bottles were supplanted by three-liter bottles in the 2000s as the new standard size...
- Biggest I've seen is a 3L bottle of Faygo but I think that's a upper Midwest regional brand and come to think of it I haven't seen one in years.
- I've seen cheaper brands sold in bottles larger than 2L. (PA, US)

As a fat person, 300lb+ lbs, i think its fine to call us out and make fun of us. Mostly we either dont give a shit and will do what we want, or might just be on the verge of change and 1 more person calling us out could jumpdrive our selfrespct enough in order to make a difference.

  I don't see two targets of ridicule. I see two cases of metabolic syndrome,with type II and heart attacks waiting to destroy their bodies, and over 6000 calories of raw sugar in tow on wheels, because they're too weak to carry their snack around. And they likely got there from self-medicating with food for what's likely trauma, depression, and/or other mental illness. They need a rescue party.

No-one is mocking them being fat. We're mocking America for having such a shit culture and food regulation that lots of people end up with this problem.

- It's a depth-charge sized drink made by the 7-11 convenience store chain in the US. The biggest Big Gulp is the 128oz (or 3.5 liters).

  I knew a guy who rigged one up with a cooling system, he only needed to get new water every couple days. I aspire for such laziness. Mind you I am the type of lazy that caused me to go into severe pain yesterday because I hadn't eaten more than one meal a day at most for like a week, I don't have an eating disorder I am just very good at procrastinating.

Losing a lot of weight is extraordinarily difficult and it'll take as long or longer than the amount of time it took to put it on. You'll have regressions and make mistakes. Your key will be neck breakingly slow but constant progress and being gentle on yourself, plus being surrounded by supportive people. I'm sorry you feel that you're disgusting but I don't.
  My mom lost 70 pounds and then gained back 20 in the last 5 years. That's less than a pound per month, a 100 calorie deficit. She still eats a lot but I think that's what makes her successful. She has a long way to go but I never forget to tell her she's kicking ass because she is. You'd tell her that too. Now tell yourself.

- Also, they don't need to justify shit and nobody wants your pity. Whether you criticize or pity them, you're disrespecting their autonomy, and your values don't align with the reality in front of you. That's a you problem.

wow these replies are landmines so i will just be confused about how you even get a picture from that angle. the place doesn't look urban or like it would have any high-rises, and the USA (assuming this is it) also doesn't really do tall parking garages. and it very much looks like the photo was taken from outside.
