‘Star Wars: A New Hope’ Will Get 50th Anniversary Theatrical Re-Release in 2027

The only version i would go see in theater is despecialized. If it has lucas’ bullshit additions i’ll pass.
- The project 4k77 version(s) and associated sequels are worth seeking out if you haven’t seen them yet. They’re fan made 4k scans of gray market film reels of the original theatrical releases so well done they rival any official version available to consumers (in my opinion). Closest you can get to being the right age to see them in theaters in the 70s and 80s.

Which version, or will Lucas make another one "to fit his original vision" for the film? More CG BS? Will Han shoot first, it will they just end the arguement with a friendly handshake and agree to disagree?
- Disney will use AI to turn all the characters into actual toys in their eternal effort to sell more merch to kids
It's most likely not going to be the original version from 1977.
It would be nice if it was, but I'm not holding my breath.
What a fantastic way to earn more money without producing any new content…
- I mean there is clearly a demand for it.
  I am not a big Star Wars fan and haven't seen any of the recent stuff. I would watch Star Wars: A New Hope in the cinema.
