The problem is that they released them after interrogation. When authorities in (I think it was) Brazil did the same, the soldiers were quickly brought out of the country, probably by the Mossad.
I don't expect that justice will be served in this case.
Detained, questioned, and released. Big whoop.
Steps forward. Focus on the positive
They at least know that they can't flaunt their crimes too brazenly.
They also must know that they have little respect around Europe now.
Do you believe in imprisoning people indefinitely without proof of crimes? Has Israel committed crimes, yes. Have these individuals? We don't know. Unless they had proof of those individuals doing wrong I would see it as abduction. Fuck the IDF, but if you toss out habeus corpus as fast as Trump wanted too, it won't help the people, it will just harm everyone.
Every other organization in the world that bombs, rapes, and shoots children in the head get designated as a terrorist organization. But, the IDF gets a HUGE pass because Zionists seem to have great influence over the Western world.
The least the world can do is designate the IDF a terrorist organization.
Detaining suspects are not abduction mate
Until they are held, tried, and convicted nothing has changed.
And hung.
They may or may not be hung, but they should be hanged.
Too little, too late. All this seems just like a fake show done to calm the public down and show that they care about what people think. All this happens in the background of continued monetary support to Israel.
Not a "turning point" so much as a passenger grabbed the wheel and the driver had to adjust.
This wasn’t like on the ground, in the moment? They were investigating these guys for ten months and all they did was question them and release them?
The Belgian government didn't investigate for months. An NGO fighting against human rights violations in Palestine did track them on social media, saw they were at Tomorrowland in Belgium and filed a complaint. Only then the government acted by questioning the soldiers.
Support the Hind Rajab Foundation, they are doing [insert your deity or central philosophical tenet]'s work.
Bob Vyland says something, gets villainized. Belgium does something, gets lionized. Why are politicians not seeing Israel as a third rail to their career?
I believe that there will be a tipping point with politicians soon. there are Zionist lobby groups, but if you can't get elected on that platform, or pro Gaza politicians start to be seen as less corrupt then things will change very quickly.
Israel is essentially a pariah state at the moment.
I dont get why people find it so hard to make the clear distinction between being jewish and zionist. Its not hard, its like German and nazi, American and MAGA, English and chav. We've heard the zionists speaking about the civilians in Gaza in dehumanising terms. "They are animals" etc. Thats classic nazi shit.
But for whatever reason, we still get all those clowns in various governments supporting this shit. How many pictures of starving kids to people need to see before ask the question "Are we the baddies?"?
Someone with an IDF T-shirt and hat walked past a pub I was in yesterday and one of the staffers shouted "Try that in Belgium, ya scum."
Now that makes better sense.
