Snowtown murderer granted parole after decades in jail for South Australia’s ‘bodies in the barrels’ serial killings

For some reason, most likely the film about the murders is responsible, this sad saga lives rent free inside my head to the point that it still feels raw and I'm genuinely shocked that it's been over quarter of a century since conviction.

That's pretty fucked: first I've heard of this gruesome shit. I definitely won't be watching the film:
