I'm sure they suffered no major injury, but I think if you asked the cats they would really emphasize that they did not consent to this and it wasn't okay.

Life Magazine photographer Philippe Halsman is famous for asking famous people to jump. When his photo of Salvador Dalí came out on August 9, 1948, they went above and beyond. Halsman's assistants threw those cats at least 26 times, but the cats were apparently unharmed and dry. We can't say the same for Halsman and his assistants.
