Happy Shuttering!

I am a library aid for my highschool, these books were once taken off the shelves and legally banned.
However due to many authors and publishers threatening to sue (and some actually following through), 36 of the 176 books banned have returned.
Hope it continues. And sorry if this breaks the politics rule even if it doesn't show a politician.

Aliens. We were watching Aliens and I took a group pic and this nightmare was in the background.
Nicolás Mihanovich, an abandoned cruise ship sits moored on the bank of Rio Iguazú, Puerto Iguazú, Argentina, at the apex of the borders between Argentina, Paraguay and Brasil.
It was originally designed as a luxury ferry between Argentina and Uruguay, but plans were made to turn it in to a floating Casino. The plans stalled, and now the ship sits, largely abandoned

Increased the structure of the water, darkened the highlights to reduce over exposure of the boats. The shot was a bit tricky, I wanted to go higher up but it's in the outer controlled airspace of an airport which restricts altitude to 50m AGL

The ranger tells me this plant will get torn down in favor of condos in the coming years, which in my opinion is a tragedy. Not as much of one as still burning coal in Anno Domini 2024, but still a tragedy.
He also told me a lovely story about how he tased a bunch of hippies just for being naked and high on shrooms. Come to find out, park rangers are still cops and that sucks.
Pretty cool park though!

The color of the water is just incredible. I added some Vignette and increased the structure of the image to bring out the little eddies made by the oars. Additionally I darkened the boat as it was overexposed. No further editing, no playing with colors or saturation. Still - pretty sure the dji drone already does some post processing before I get to see the image...
