- Given the trajectory of the world, yeah, let's go with that
It's simple. If you simply say it's dangerous, most people won't believe you. But they will start to think that LLMs are at the very least capable, which is all you need to keep those sweet sweet VC dollars coming in.
- The Brian Merchant article shared recently made a good point. It's most likely a symbiosis of an organic AI panic from incredibly out-of-touch people and savvy capitalists that learned to use it for marketing.
