Like, even when I've been diagnosed since I was a kid, why the hell is it so hard to find doctors to continue my treatment‽

My husband didn't get the diagnosis despite showing almost all of the symptoms, even some lesser known ones. However a part of the questoinaire was about struggles in his day-to-day life. And he doesn't have that many blatant ones. He has a job that is pretty relaxed on when he works. Coming late is usually not a big deal. He has a huge knowledge and his job is his main interest, so even if he comes late sometimes he'll still keep his job because he is great at it.
So yeah, same thing, functioning too well in his day-to-day life, even though his functioning comes at the cost of very high stress.

2 doctors and 1 councilor down and not one of them will commit to giving me medication of any kind. Gave the same excuse as the top comment here. As long as I’m American and poor I’ll never get my proper accommodation.
