Even a blanket isnt much armor against some critters. They like the warmth better than you do

It's miserable. I need the blanket to get to sleep, but the blanket will make me wake up eventually, all sweaty and blurgh.

You can get cooling blankets. I have one and it's great, apart from the fact that it's super slick and sometimes slides off the bed.

My current quilt is 1.5 tog. It's so thin it barely exists. It's brilliant ❤️

Douvets > blankets

Also just the douvet covers or bed sheets , and are perfect summer alternatives.
